  • Roses

    Are a symbol of strength, they exude it! They encourage positive self-reflection.     Roses hold the frequency of unconditional love and have an affinity for the heart chakra, the highest vibrational energy. With their soothing aroma, roses can work with lower vibrations such as grief, depression, loss and anxiety, quieting and releasing these emotions as you work with the scent of roses.


    Roses have been used in skin care for thousands of years starting with the Arab physician, Avicenna who invented distilled rose oil for healing purposes. The primary medicinal properties of roses are anti-inflammatory, reduces scarring, antioxidant, reduces anxiety, and are hepatoprotective meaning having the ability to prevent or reduce liver damage. Folklore also tells chamomile and rose petals will attract sprites, fairies, brownies, and elves.

  • The Marigold Family

    Are antimicrobials that protect the skin from fungus and bacteria. They are anti-inflammatory agents and antioxidants as well. In this family of botanicals with the same properties are chamomile, helichrysum, and calendula and are a large botanical source in our Exfozyme. Folklore has it that picking calendula flowers under the noonday sun will strengthen and comfort the heart. Calendula was believed to imbue magical powers of protection and clairvoyance, and even to assist in legal matters. This plant contains flavonoids, triterpenoids, glycosides, saponins, carotenoids, volatile oil, amino acids, steroids, sterols, and quinines. These chemical constituents confer multifaceted biological effects such as anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, anthelminthic, antidiabetic, wound healing, hepatoprotective, and antioxidant activities. Additionally, it is employed in cases of certain burns and gastrointestinal, gynecological, ocular, and skin conditions.

    Chamomile folklore has magical implications for attracting money and, accordingly, as a hand rinse for gamblers needing good luck! Place a chamomile sachet under the pillow at night to promote restful sleep. Chamomile contains powerful antioxidants including polyphenols and phytochemicals. When applied to the skin, it may help reduce signs of aging by protecting the skin from free radical damage.

    Helichrysum is most noted for its incredible wound healing abilities. The name Immortelle has endured for more than two thousand years because the freshly cut golden flower buds retain their color as they dry (therefore being immortal) and perhaps also because the name hints at some of its botanical powers. Rich in antimicrobial properties that can help prevent infection, and anti-inflammatories and antioxidants.

  • Calendula

    Part of the Marigold Family mentioned previously, Calendula has been used as an anti-inflammatory for generations. This natural ingredient is used in our Granular Based Exfozyyme available in our kits or individually to promote healthy, clear skin.

  • Lavender

    English folklore tells that with a mixture of lavender, mug wort, lavender, wormwood, rue, sage, mint, and rosemary, and vinegar; a person rarely became infected.  Antimicrobial properties limit the growth of odor-producing bacteria. improve sleep, treat skin blemishes, relieve pain, reduce blood pressure, lessen menopausal hot flashes, combat fungus growth, and potentially promote hair growth.

  • Oat Straw

    Unripen Avena Sativa Plant is believed to help reduce inflammation and redness, improve hydration, and protect against sun damage.
